The LU Center for Resiliency distributes disaster backpacks for participants who have completed the SmartStorm disaster training modules, while supplies last. Is someone you love living with a dementia diagnosis? The speech-language pathology clinic here at LU offers free cognitive stimulation therapy groups for individuals with dementia. The South Park Neighborhood Partnership is hosting a community meeting for South Park residents on Tuesday, March 12 at Alice Keith Park Community Center. The purpose of this meeting is to launch initiatives to keep the community safe, engage the residents, and identify ways to support the ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ surrounding area. The guest speakers will be Miles Haynes with the City of Beaumont and Officer Haley Morrow with Beaumont PD. Everyone is invited to attend.
