Features and Amenities
The Setzer Student Center completed a major renovation in April 2018 and was designed with students in mind! The Student Organizations Workroom gives LU's 150 student organizations a space of their very own to work on events and activities.
On the second floor, our offices include space for the Student Government Association, Event Services, Student Organization Services, New Student & Leadership Programs, the Office of Student Conduct and Care Services, and the Vice President of Student Affairs and Strategic Initiatives.

Meeting Spaces
- 18 meeting rooms for small and medium groups
- Live Oak Ballroom can host large groups and features two extra-large screens and digital projectors
- Student Lounge on the second floor is the perfect spot for meeting and collaborating
- Veranda comes complete with rocking chairs and has the absolute best view of the Quad
Dining & Shopping Options
- Our Food Court features Smoothie King, Chick-Fil-A, and Panda Express
- The Market at the SSC carries quick snacks and cold drinks
- Barnes and Noble features the latest LU apparel, textbooks, and school supplies
Entertainment
Video Game Room
A video game room, with an Xbox and PlayStation, has been established for use by students during their down time! Those interested are welcome to use the space and be respectful of others that might be waiting to play.
Chess Room
A chess room has been setup for the novice and advanced players to practice or play head-to-head.Wellness Room
The Wellness Room is a private, relaxing space for nursing or pumping mothers, caregivers to infants, and other guests with special needs.
